Overview
Give them three mornings they’ll never forget. Prima Archery’s three-day summer camp blends expert coaching with hands-on learning at our range in Davidstown, Enniscorthy. Led by Sharon O’Connor (Archery Ireland–qualified instructor and international competitor), campers aged 8–16 build real skills and confidence through structured sessions, fun challenges, and a creative project.
Our Summer Archery Camp is more than just hitting the bullseye – it’s a chance for children to build new skills, make friends, and enjoy exciting games that keep them active, engaged, and smiling.
Camp Highlights
Led by Alan & Sharon O’Connor — Archery Ireland-qualified instructors and international competitors — participants will:
- - Learn safe handling and correct use of archery equipment.
- - Develop body posture, aiming technique, and shooting form.
- - Improve hand-eye coordination, focus, and personal confidence.
- - Gain insight into the history and mechanics of archery.
This programme offers an enriching environment where young people learn through physical activity, themed games, and creative exploration — leaving camp with new skills, new friends, and unforgettable memories.

What to Wear & Bring
Comfortable sports clothing (avoid baggy sleeves), closed-toe shoes (trainers), long hair tied back, and no long/dangling earrings. Bring a snack and drink — all other equipment is supplied.

Is equipment included?
What to wear?
Comfortable sports type clothing recommended. Avoid baggy clothes that can catch the bowstring. Wear closed-toed shoes like trainers.
If you have long hair, wear it in a ponytail or pull it away from your face. Long / large earrings should not be worn.
What ages can take part?
Minimum age 8 years.
Do you cater for children with additional needs?
Yes. Our coaches are trained in inclusive sports and have experience supporting children on the Autism Spectrum and with special needs. Please contact us to discuss your childs needs prior to booking them into a group session. We can also offer weekly private sessions tailored to your child – please contact us for more information.
