Term 3 Monday Teenage Archery Class Ages 13 to 18 years 6pm 1 hour lesson 10 week term.
Learn one of the oldest forms of sport that is still practiced today. The lessons are run by Alan and Sharon O’Connor who have represented Ireland internationally at World and European Championships.
Children will learn safety, proper technique, form and etiquette . The lessons are run in small groups so that everyone gets a chance to have one to one coaching and plenty of shooting time!
Archery has many transferable skills for life skills and personnel development. Some of the skills archery promotes include: confidence, self-discipline, mental arithmetic, staying calm under pressure, cooperation, following instructions, working individually and as part of a team.
The lessons takes place at our new indoor archery range in Davidstown, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
All equipment is supplied.
What to wear? Comfortable sports type clothing recommended avoid baggy clothes that can catch the bowstring. Wear closed-toed shoes like trainers. If you have long hair, wear it in a ponytail or pull it away from your face.
Ages: 13 to 18 years.
Time: 6 to 7pm
Term dates : Monday 12th of February until the 29th of April.
We will have no lessons on the 26th of March and 2nd of April for Easter Holidays.
